Dunapack Packaging Austria is part of the Dunapack Packaging Division of the Austrian Prinzhorn Group. Dunapack Packaging has production sites in Vienna and Strasswalchen (Salzburg) in Austria for high-quality, printed corrugated cardboard – environmentally friendly packaging solutions: Around 85% of the raw materials processed are derived from recycled paper. Moreover, the entire Austrian production is FSC®-certified.
The Vienna and Strasswalchen sites employ a total of around 600 employees. Dunapack Packaging, as an internationally active group, has more than 4,200 staff in ten countries (Austria, Hungary, Germany, Ukraine, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Greece and Turkey).
With its 9,800 employees in 16 countries, the Prinzhorn Group is a European market leader in the packaging, paper and recycling industry. With an annual turnover of 1,90 billion Euro, the group ranks number three in Europe in this segment. The family owned and managed Prinzhorn Group has its headquarters in Vienna / Austria and is structured in three divisions: Dunapack Packaging (corrugated packaging solutions), Hamburger Containerboard (production of containerboard) and Hamburger Recycling Group (collection and trading of secondary rawmaterial).
