Hungaropack 2019

Dunapack Packaging Mosonudvar won again the top prize on the Hungarian National Packaging Contest – Hungaropack.

We are proud to announce that this year Dunapack Packaging Mosonudvar won again the top prize on the Hungarian National Packaging Contest – Hungaropack.

The contest is already a tradition among all packaging companies in Hungary and this year was the 36th anniversary. The prize was taken over by László Király sales representative for its specially designed packaging solution for a Hungarian automotive company - DANA in Győr.

The transport packaging consists of a diecutted insert system (EB flute) and a pallet-sized corrugated board box (Kraft BC) as well as divider sheets (Kraft BC). One piece pack is designed for on-demand delivery to repair shops. The packaging system consist of a Fefco 0201 box and diecutted, folded separator. Both type of packaging made of high-quality, five-ply EB corrugated board.

When designing the packages, the primary consideration was that the paired parts (GearSet) should be clearly associated and they should only be installed together when used. Due to the thinness of the corrugated board (EB flute) use of space is also optimized. Corrosion protection of metal parts is ensured by VCI foil.

Dunapack Packaging Mosonudvar would like to extend special thanks to Mr. András Palotai, constructor of  Dunapack Packaging Vienna, who helped to develop this product.
