Dunapack Packaging Hungary has received another major international recognition: DIVE – Dunapack’s Innovative Virtual Environment and the Inno Room have been awarded the WorldStar Packaging Award 2026 in the Digital Packaging category.
The WorldStar Packaging Awards are among the most prestigious international competitions in the packaging industry, attracting hundreds of entries from around the world each year. For the 2026 awards, an international jury of 48 experts reviewed more than 480 submissions to select the most outstanding solutions.
Dunapack received the award not for a single packaging product, but for a new, digitally driven approach to packaging development. Built around the DIVE software suite, the Inno Room is a specially designed innovation space that allows packaging concepts to be tested and compared in real size and real-life contexts — before production begins.
The solution helps shorten development timelines, reduce risk and eliminate unnecessary iterations, while supporting more confident decision-making and more sustainable development processes. What previously required weeks of back-and-forth can now often be achieved within a single collaborative workshop.
The WorldStar Award also recognizes the multi-year, dedicated work of Dunapack’s construction and development teams, who created a solution that is unique at a European level and designed to support customers throughout the packaging development process.
DIVE and the Inno Room are available at Dunapack Hungary’s Dunavarsány site and will continue to play a key role in enabling digital, collaborative packaging development together with customers.
