Laszlo Puskas - Lean Coordinator

Meet Laszlo Puskas – turning operational experience into continuous improvement

With extensive production experience, a practical problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, Laszlo Puskas works as Lean Coordinator and Project Manager at Dunapack Packaging Nyiregyhaza. Having built his career from the production floor, he combines hands-on experience with Lean thinking to support teams in improving processes, solving problems and creating sustainable results.

Since joining Dunapack Packaging more than eleven years ago, Laszlo has built his career through a variety of operational and technical roles. Starting as a production operator, he later worked as a machine operator, ink kitchen specialist, deputy shift supervisor and process engineer before moving into his current role as Lean Coordinator and Project Manager. This journey has given him a deep understanding of production processes and day-to-day operational challenges.

Today, Laszlo supports continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, helping teams identify opportunities, solve problems and implement practical solutions. He believes Lean is most successful when people from different departments work together, share their experience and contribute to a common goal.

What motivates Laszlo most is seeing an idea become a measurable improvement. He values open communication, teamwork and involving colleagues in every step of the improvement process. For him, Lean is not just a set of tools—it is a way of thinking that creates long-term value.

Continuous learning has always been an important part of Laszlo's professional journey. Alongside his daily work, he actively participates in international Lean initiatives and development programmes while continuing his university studies to further strengthen his knowledge and skills. Since last year, he has also been participating in the FIT Talent Program, where he continues to develop his leadership, project management and business competencies while broadening his perspective across the organization.

Outside work, Laszlo enjoys running and cycling. Both activities reflect the same values he brings to work: perseverance, discipline and continuous improvement.

Through his practical experience, collaborative mindset and commitment to development, Laszlo helps build a culture where people work together, learn from one another and continuously improve.
